Formaldehyde 30% is effective against protozoan parasites and flukes. It is especially useful in treating flukes because of its ability to penetrare mucus and reach the parasites that would otherwise be protected from other bath treatments. Formaldehyde can be used as a dip bath to treat severe cases quickly.

Suggested bath treatment levels 1ml to 1 gallon of pond water and bathe the fish for one hour whilst aerating the bath and watching for signs of stress.

Formaldehyde 30% is a profesional chemical well respected within the Koi keeping industry, take great care when using this chemical and always follow manafacturers guidelines.
