"ICK" (White Spot)

Fine white spots on body similar to grains of salt.

Bacterial infection and viral tumours

White spot is a bacterial infection that can be spread throughout your fish stock causing lowered resistance, illness and death.

For mixed species of fish stock it is recommended that you use:

'Eradick'

a pond water control of parasites such as White spot, Trichodina, Costia and fungus on fish.  Use daily over 5 consecutive days as a full course of treatment.  Single dose in Spring, when introducing fish or as a monthly safeguard.

For specialised Koi treatment it is recommended that you use:

'Malachite Green'

an effective treatment for external parasite and fungus infections.  When used together with Formaldehyde its activity is enhanced which means that less malachite can be used.

or

'F- M-G mixture'

F-M-G has been formulated to provide the Koi keeper with a ready mixed formalin and malachite green preparation which gives the same treatment levels of formalin and malachite green as you would get by using the separate components according to the instructions.
